About EAGLE

Welcome to EAGLE Christian Co-Op!

EAGLE is a Christian, parent-participation homeschool co-op serving families throughout Northern Nevada. For more than 30 years, EAGLE families have come together to share their talents, build friendships, and create learning opportunities for their children.

What Does “Co-Op” Mean at EAGLE?

At EAGLE, co-op means we do this together! Parents stay on site and are an active part of our co-op day. Families help make EAGLE happen by teaching, assisting in classes, volunteering, and sharing their talents with our community.

EAGLE is not a drop-off program. Parents attend alongside their children and participate throughout the co-op day.

Our classes are designed to supplement what families are already doing at home, not replace their homeschool program. Parents remain responsible for their children’s homeschool education and records.

Classes & Community

EAGLE offers one day of classes each week during both our fall and spring semesters. Our co-op day runs from 12:00–3:00 PM, with three class periods and a variety of classes for different ages and interests. Families can pick and choose the classes that work best for their kids and their homeschool.

EAGLE is a whole-family co-op! We offer classes beginning at age 2 and continuing through the teen years, and babies are always welcome to come along with their families. Whether you have one homeschooler or a whole crew, there’s a place for your family at EAGLE.

And EAGLE is more than our co-op afternoons! Our families stay connected outside of classes with fun field trips, family events, park days, and other opportunities to get together throughout the year.

A Christian Community

EAGLE is a Christian co-op, and our classes and activities are taught from a biblical worldview. Our families come from a variety of Christian backgrounds and denominations.

Families do not have to be Christian to participate in EAGLE, but all members are expected to understand and respect the Christian foundation of our community. Prayer, the Bible, and Christian teaching are a normal part of EAGLE classes and activities.

For more about our beliefs, please see our Statement of Faith.
